Indian esports organisation Global Esports has signed former Paper Rex (PRX) player Patrick βPatMenβ Mendoza to complete its VCT Pacific 2026 roster.
Announced through an official post on Global Esportsβ social media channels, the 24-year-old joins after a strong season with PRX. This includes a VCT Masters trophy in Toronto, a top-four finish at VCT Champions, and winning VCT Pacific Rookie of the Year and Initiator of the Year.
Joining PRX in March 2025 after playing in the VALORANT Challengers League for the past two years, PatMen quickly established himself as a key player in the teamβs success. That being said, Paper Rex decided to part ways with the player.
The organisation explained that the decision was made after an βinternal reviewβ involving the players, coaches, and performance staff, according to an official statement on X.
