They’re missin’ it!
Recently on 3rd September I went to a McDonald’s outlet near my home and noticed that they changed their order queuing and food collecting services, where people are given an order number and allowed to wait in a separate line to collect their order food. I really found this new service to be very efficient, with customers finding it easier to get their food without the worrying about congestion in line space. However, when I went to another outlet on the way to work, I noticed that it was still employing the old way of serving food and not the newer and more efficient servicing! Why is this Happening? Isn’t it not the responsibility for McDonald’s to provide its customers with the latest services?
According to Employees, Many Outlets have yet to employ this new service, because renovations are required, cooking equipment and stations need to be reposition to suite the new service routines. This is perfectly understandable, renovations also require money, man-power and time. But McDonald’s should at least keep its customers informed. A simple notice on the outside of the Restaurant outlets’ doors wouldn’t be too much to ask.
