#NSTviral: Lecturer's water gun tactic to maintain students' attention goes viral
KUALA LUMPUR: A lecturer at a university has gone viral for using a water gun during a lecture to ensure her students' full attention.
A video uploaded by TikTok user @etsa_edu (Teaching English as a Second Language Student Association of Universiti Teknologi Mara, Puncak Alam) shows the lecturer, known as Madam Amie, using the water gun as one of her "teaching aids" to capture her students' attention.
"New students, once you're in the TESL course, fun learning experiences will be the highlight of your journey," read the caption of the video.
The video's comment section was filled with positive reactions from those familiar with her unique teaching style. A user, @whiskie21, said, "Who would even dare to sleep in her class," while another, @2108shiro, said, "Lecturers like this always get 100 per cent class attendance, for sure".
A third user, @kim.taenini_, said, "If you're sleepy, don't even bother going to the toilet to freshen up".
