SIK: A teenage boy narrowly escaped harm after slamming the brakes on his motorcycle when a king cobra suddenly crossed his path last night.
In the 7.30pm incident, the 16-year-old managed to jump off his motorcycle and run to safety at the front of his house in Kampung Banggol Sik Dalam, near here.
Unfortunately, the king cobra ended up stuck in the motorcycle's brake system.
The teen was unhurt, and firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after.
