Princess Charlotte has turned 10 years old around two weeks after her younger brother Prince Louis.
The third in line to the throne may well get a chance to celebrate with her friends at Lambrook School, in Berkshire, as she marks the milestone birthday.
Prince William and Princess Kate are expected to release a photo via their official social media accounts, as they did for her younger brother Prince Louis on April 23.
And they also released a short video of Louis jumping off a fallen tree, so it is not impossible there may also be some new footage of Charlotte.
Princess Charlotte's Year
Princess Charlotte's first public outing of 2024 came with Trooping the Colour, King Charles III's birthday parade, on June 15, 2024.
She took part in a carriage procession alongside her brothers Prince Louis and Prince George and mother Princess Kate while Prince William took part in the military parade on horseback.
The Wales family then watched a fly past by the Royal Air Force from the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Charlotte then joined Kate at Wimbledon tennis championships in July where Kate got a standing ovation in recognition of her difficult experience with cancer.
Royal photographer Karwai Tang at the time told People: "[Charlotte] skipped down the stairs and when she got back to her seatβshe was laughing. She leaned over and must have told her mom what it was about and they were giggling together and having a good old laugh."
She spent the summer holidaying with her family in Norfolk, in the East of England, where they have a countryside retreat, Anmer Hall, and spent time in nature and at the beach.
Kate shared a video of their family time together when she announced in September that her chemotherapy treatment had come to an end, following a cancer diagnosis earlier in the year.
In December, Charlotte attended Together at Christmas, Kate's annual carol service, at Westminster Abbey, in London.
And on Christmas Day she was back in Norfolk at Sandringham, where she joined the royals walking to church.
Princess Charlotte's Birth
Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015, and given the middle names Elizabeth and Diana by her parents in honor of her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and grandmother Princess Diana.
At the time, Prince William said "we're very happy, very happy," as the family left the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, in London.
