
Taiwanese man killed by LRT train: He was alone at the time of the incident

SERDANG: Police are still investigating the incident where a man from Taiwan was run over and killed by a Light Rail Transit (LRT) carriage after he is believed to have fallen onto the tracks at the Puchong City Centre Station here, yesterday.
Serdang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Muhamad Farid Ahmad said that checks found that the victim entered the country on May 31.
He said that closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed the victim walking alone before falling onto the track.
"The police are in the process of contacting the victim's family through the embassy," he said in a statement today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Assistant Director of Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar reportedly said that his department received a call at 6.05 pm.
"Rescue equipment and teams from the Subang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) who went to the scene of the incident found the victim unconscious," he said.
