33 foreign workers injured as factory bus overturns in Bandar Baru Bangi

KUALA LUMPUR: Thirty-three foreign workers suffered minor injuries when the factory bus they were travelling in, along with 11 others, skidded and overturned at Jalan P/6, Section 13, Bandar Baru Bangi this morning.
The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said a team of 13 personnel from the Bangi and Kajang Fire and Rescue stations was deployed to the scene after the department was alerted to the accident at 6.59am.
"A factory bus carrying 44 male foreign workers skidded and overturned," the department said in a statement.
It said eight of the 33 injured workers were rushed to Kajang Hospital and Serdang Hospital for treatment, while the others received first aid at the scene.
The department added that the remaining 11 people on the bus escaped the accident unhurt.
