KUALA LUMPUR: United Overseas Bank (M) Bhd (UOB Malaysia) has been named Malaysia's Best Bank at the 32nd annual Global Finance World's Best Bank Awards 2025 – Asia Pacific.

The recognition by Global Finance magazine highlights the bank's substantial transformation, innovation, and growing influence across the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region.

The bank's sustainable financing portfolio has tripled over the last two years, focusing on areas like smart cities, green buildings, and transition finance.

2021, UOB Malaysia has achieved carbon neutrality and received national and regional energy awards for its eco-friendly headquarters. Customer experience remains a top focus, with strong improvements in net promoter scores (NPS) reflecting its commitment to quality service, innovation, and client-centric solutions. With strengths in performance, digital innovation, sustainability, and regional engagement, UOB Malaysia continues to reinforce its leadership in the Malaysian and ASEAN banking sectors.
