HONOR has officially introduced the Magic V5, one of the slimmest and lightest inward-foldable smartphones, combining cutting-edge design with flagship performance.
Measuring just 8.8mm when folded and weighing only 217g, the Magic V5 sets a new benchmark for ultra-thin foldables without compromising on features or power.
Despite its sleek profile, the device packs a powerful 5,820mAh silicon-carbon battery, enabling all-day usage, while its advanced thermal management system ensures efficient heat dissipation during intensive tasks.
CERTIFIED DURABILITY
At the heart of the Magic V5 is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, delivering lightning-fast performance, improved multitasking and greater power efficiency across the board.
Built to endure, the Magic V5 is IP58-rated for dust and water resistance, with added IP59 protection for better defence against splashes and environmental wear, making it one of the most rugged foldables available.
Its HONOR Super Steel Hinge, engineered to withstand over 500,000 folds, is designed for long-term reliability, equivalent to more than 13 years of daily use.
To demonstrate its strength, HONOR even tested the hinge by supporting a 35kg dumbbell.
DURABLE INSIDE AND OUT
Both displays on the Magic V5 are reinforced with HONOR's latest screen protection technology.
The external screen is protected by a scratch-resistant NanoCrystal Shield, which delivers:

15x enhanced scratch protection
Inside, the foldable display uses materials that feature non-Newtonian fluid that hardens upon impact.
A high-silicon protection layer and AI-powered foreign object detection feature add further protection, helping prevent accidental damage when folding.
