All eight original songs from βKPop Demon Huntersβ climbed up the Billboard Hot 100 this week!
On July 15 local time, Billboard revealed that the entire original soundtrack to Netflixβs hit animated film βKPop Demon Huntersβ had risen on the Hot 100, its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States.
Fictional girl group HUNTR/Xβs βGoldenβ (sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami) entered the top 10 of the Hot 100, jumping to No. 6 from last weekβs No. 23. According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), the song racked up 18.8 million streams, garnered 950,000 radio airplay audience impressions, and sold 3,000 downloads in the week ending on July 10.
Meanwhile, fictional boy band Saja Boysβ song βYour Idolβ (sung by Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, U-KISSβs Kevin Woo, and samUIL Lee) broke into the top 20, surging to a new peak of No. 16.
HUNTR/Xβs βHow Itβs Doneβ rose to No. 29, Saja Boysβ βSoda Popβ to No. 35, Rumi and Jinuβs duet βFreeβ (sung by EJAE and Andrew Choi) to No. 41, HUNTR/Xβs βWhat It Sounds Likeβ To No. 43, βTakedownβ to No. 51.
Finally, TWICEβs Jeonghyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoungβs version of βTakedownβ debuted at No. 86 on this weekβs chart.
Earlier this week, Billboard also announced that the βKPop Demon Huntersβ soundtrack had risen to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 after achieving the biggest streaming week for a soundtrack in over three years.
