JOHOR BARU: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, continues to embody a healthy lifestyle by incorporating horse riding and brisk walking into his daily fitness routine.
According to a Facebook post, Sultan Ibrahim begins his day as early as 5am, preparing to ride on horseback around the grounds of Istana Pasir Pelangi in Johor Baru.
An avid equestrian, Sultan Ibrahim is highly knowledgeable in the sport and is also an experienced polo player.
For His Majesty, horseback riding is more than a leisure activity; it serves as a means of building muscle strength, enhancing focus, and instilling discipline.
On Monday, Sultan Ibrahim took part in a brisk walk with members of Istana Negara, walking 2.5km around the perimeter of the Istana Negara grounds.
On Sunday, the King joined the public for a stroll at the Perdana Botanical Gardens. He arrived at the park at 7am and spent time engaging with park-goers from various backgrounds, many of whom were exercising or enjoying the weekend atmosphere.
