PUTRAJAYA: Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (MCBA) director-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain yesterday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Prime Minister's Office.
It marked Shuhaily's first official visit to the prime minister since his appointment as MCBA chief.
He previously served as Bukit Aman's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director.
"The meeting covered various matters, including key issues related to national border security," the agency said in a post on its official Facebook page.
Anwar, in turn, conveyed several mandates to Shuhaily, aimed at ensuring Malaysia's borders remain secure under his leadership.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Shuhaily also made a courtesy call on Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
The meeting served as a key platform for both sides to exchange views and discuss the agency's strategic direction in strengthening Malaysia's border enforcement.
MCBA reaffirmed its commitment to upholding integrity and enhancing border control measures in line with the Malaysia Madani vision.
