QuickCheck: Is Nepal the only country with a non-rectangular national flag?

By The Star
NATIONAL flags are a source of pride for the citizens of any country. But many of them have the same shape: rectangular.
However, the flag of this mountainous South Asian country defies the trend.
So, is it true that Nepal’s flag is the only modern national flag that is not rectangular or four-sided?
Verdict:
TRUE
The Nepalese flag comprises two pennants. Historically, triangular flags were quite common within the region.
The red on the flag symbolises courage and Nepal’s national flower, the rhododendron arboretum, commonly known as "Lali Gurans" in Nepali. The blue border represents peace and harmony.
The flag carries two white emblems—a crescent moon with eight visible rays above it and a sun with twelve rays below it. Both are common symbols used in Hinduism, one of Nepal’s major religions.
The emblems had faces before the current flag (designed by Nepalese civil engineer and architect Shankar Nath Rimal) was adopted.
